Ken, owner and fine art trained artist, had a passion. His passion was to draw with meaning. At the age of 18 he was sought after for his God given talent and hired into a monument company. Working for someone else did not give him the creative ability that he needed. Starting his own free lance company gave him the ability to use his artistic talents more while being fine art trained for 9 years. He still did not have the freedom that he craved. Ken wanted to communicate with the customer himself. Talk with them, hear their story, their words and then to create a beautiful memorial that told those memories. With the opening of Lehigh Valley Granite Studio at the corner of Route 100 and Route 309 in New Tripoli he has had that freedom. Ken has now been creating memorials for 42 years.
Michael, our highly trained sandblast technician has been creating memorials for over 25 years. He has been with Lehigh Valley Granite Studio for over 9 years and we are very happy to have him on our team.
Karen, owner and Ken’s wife, is a detailed oriented sales and customer service specialist. Karen has always been in the sales and customer service side of businesses since a very young age and loves sitting with the clients talking and listening about their stories to help provide the client the perfect memorial.
Ken, Karen and Michael have the experience and compassion in capturing the memories of a loved one and work side by side helping families create these stories on granite. We take delivery of the granite when it arrives from the quarry, create the artwork you have chosen, deliver and set your loved ones tribute in the cemetery. Formerly Easton Memorial Company was founded in 1959 by John A. Cappellano. In 2008, Lehigh Valley Granite Studio aquired the location and changed the name to Easton Monument Studio forming a great presence in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas.
Easton Monument Studio has always conducted business with integrity putting our customers first by offering high quality service at a fair price. Families have trusted Easton Monument Studio to create timeless tributes, custom granite and bronze memorials that are as unique as the people they honor.
Our dedication to the City of Easton and nearby communities is evident by the number of Civic monuments we had the privilege of designing and erecting.
The Easton office is currently operated by Barbara Cappellano DeStefano, a second generation monument dealer and past President of Monument Builders of Pennsylvania.
